Dr.
Lope and Dr. Candino practice a chiropractic technique called CBP (Chiropractic
BioPhysics). CBP is one of the most scientific forms of chiropractic today
with over 100 scientific papers published in leading medical and chiropractic
journals throughout the world. Both doctors are certified in CBP technique.
Drs. Lope and Candino take a systematic, scientific approach to the patients’
individual needs. Based on mechanical engineering principles and known
published normals of the spine, the doctors design a program of care customized
to correct the patient’s particular problem(s), rather than mask
it temporarily. This usually involves patient participation and home care.
Their office is outfitted with specialized equipment needed to perform
this specific form of chiropractic.
Dr. Lope and Dr.
Candino are also proficient in upper cervical chiropractic care and pediatrics.
Due to their diverse training and technical skill the doctors are able
to treat chronic, advanced and difficult cases. Known as the chiropractor’s
chiropractor they take care of colleagues throughout the state and are
often referred difficult cases.

My
Story
At age 6, I developed
severe juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in every joint of my body. I could
barely walk and therefore when we went out as a family I had to be carried
or pushed in a wheelchair. Initially I could not go to school and was
tutored at home. Eventually I was able to go to school for 1/2 days
only. At age 11 my mother hurt her back and went to the chiropractor.
She explained my situation to him. He told her to bring me in for an
adjustment. "What do you have to lose?" he said. Thank God
she listened to him. After a while my joints began to loosen up and
hurt much less and I was able to walk better. Then I became well enough
to ride a bicycle. Soon I was able to attend school full time and eventually
able to participate in gym. Today my rheumatoid arthritis is inactive
but I have to live with damage it left behind. I take no medication
for the pain. I think the fact that I live with pain everyday and have
to adapt my lifestyle makes me more understanding (empathetic) of my
patient's situation than other doctors might be. " You can't really
understand something unless you've been through it yourself." It's
what motivates me to work harder.
